Synced data to wrong date

My fitbit hadn't synced since Sunday and I was finally able to sync it this afternoon but all my data for today is showing up under yesterday and I didn't wear my fitbit yesterday. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I guess I also want to be sure that my fitbit knows what day it is. Never had this issue before. Thanks!
