I have a Charge 3 tracker that is stuck in the downloading mode during syncing to my phone. It WILL NOT do a hard reset. It locks up my phone. There is a line towards the bottom of the tracker screen with the web address for set up scrolling and the Fitbit logo in the center of the screen. I have tried several times over two days to get it to sync and nothing works. It sometimes comes back as failed to sync other times is just sits spinning.

Did it ever sync with the phone? Does the Charge 3 show in your settings?
How did you setup the device? The message you're seeing tells me that the device was never setup properly.
