I have had this watch for over 2 years and for the past 5 months my $300 top of the line Fitbit watch won't sync to my LG V20 phone for more than an hour for an entire week. I have read every helpguide, watched all videos, and nothing helps. I have restarted the watch, my cell phone, an uninstalled / reinstalled the app so many times I can't even count. Does anyone have a REAL solution to fix this problem, or should I just smash the watch and never by another Fitbit again?

First, I appreciate your effort and patience for troubleshooting this situation prior to posting, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.
Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes. Keep in mind that your mobile device, which in this case is a LG V20 is not listed as a compatible device with our products and services.
