Syncing difficulties with Samsung Galaxy Note 9

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My note 9 and charge 3 will not sync. The phone finds the tracker but won't sync just circles. This has been going for 3 weeks now. I have asked this question a couple of time in different post and there is no answer. I feel like fitbit doesn't care they got me to buy another tracker and that's all that matters. When is the problem going to be fixed?

Hi @Firefighter45, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums, welcome back!

I appreciate the information and details that were shared in your post, totally understand how frustrating this can be for you. That said, if you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed. Also, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.

I understand that you have a script to do, but it's really getting old. I know how to sync my tracker to phone. If you notice I have been in the fitbit community for ever.  I want answers on when is this going to be fixed and work the way it should. I would get it if it was just me but I see a lot of others having the same problem. Fitbit program is not working with phone program.

I will never buy another fitbit product. When your troubleshooting doesn't work you blame the person, even when it seems others are having the same errors or problems. You really didn't help and seems like you don't want to. Just keeping saying the same thing and when you call they walk you though the same troubleshooting. I may not be a programer but I do know how to read and do all the step which says can't sync to device. So now I have a $150 pedometer because nothing else works.

Same phone. Same issue. I finally got it to work by unpairing my Charge 3 in the phone's Bluetooth settings. Then, I went into Settings > Apps > Fitbit  and selected 'Force Stop.' When I relaunched the app, it prompted me to pair my Fitbit and finally started to sync. Hopefully this doesn't keep happening...
