My fit bit has not sync and is not running in real time with my Samsung note 8 for about a week now. What is going on and when can I be back online?

@LagunaDon Hi and Welcome - there is a current ongoing issue which is being looked into please refer to the following link for updates should they be forthcoming.
What version of OS do you have on your Note 8 if it is the latest Android 9 then maybe take a look at this thread

also you may wish to Check Bluetooth is switched On as it has been noticed that the latest Android update has been known to turn off the Bluetooth as a precedence to the update, the following articles may assist you more

Have you got your settings to All day sync and Always Connected and live data turned on?
Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker if your device is note listed there maybe some compatibility issues (although not sure if the devices have been updated even though the page has to reflect the minimum OS for best use)
and if all that still hasn't provided a solution you could give customer support a call, the phone number will appear once the office is open (usually 0800 - 1900 Mon-Fri and 1000 - 1700 weekends in the UK)
This is for the UK but should you need to change country scroll to the bottom and look for United Kingdom with a down arrow next to it and click on the arrow now you can select your relevant country and the page will refresh
