To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which Android mobile device you're currently using? Also, when was the first time you experienced this? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Charge 2 are correctly configured. After verifying this, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.

Mobile Samsung J810G, Android version 9, Fitbit version 3.3.1. I am unable to read messages on the Fitbit app... when I open notifications, there is notification of 2 unread messages but as soon as I open the notification goes and there is no message in the inbox. Only one previous is displayed, new messages are not getting displayed.

Let me share with you that your Samsung Galaxy J8 is not currently listed as a compatible device with our products and services, therefore, you may experience certain difficulties with the notifications feature. That said, even though it's not listed as a compatible device, please try the following steps:
- Force quit the Fitbit app.
- Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
- Make sure that the Android version of your Samsung J8 is up to date.
- Reboot your mobile device.
- Reinstall the app.
- Let me know if the issue persist.
