Since the firmware update, my Ionic does not vibrate for incoming text messages or upcoming events on my calendar. Only calls will vibrate.
I am able to get the text messages to vibrate if I have the notification tab open on my Ionic, but if the Ionic screen is asleep, it will not work. I think this may be due to the new buttons (music, pay, abs settings). I have also insured I am not in 'sleep' or 'do not disturb' mode (as call notifications work, but text and calendar notifications do not).
After following all of the reconnection steps and troubleshooting guides the problem persists. This all started following the firmware update (which completed successfully, but introduced this concern).
Has a anyone else run into this issue? Any thoughts on next steps that are not included in the reconnection tips?

Hi @firsthalf. Welcome to the Community Forums.
Thanks for sharing that the text and calendar notifications aren't working after working, as well for the steps tried prior posting. This shouldn't be happening and I'll work on this with you. Before anything else, may I know your phone's model and Android version? Also, what's the name of the messaging app you're using to receive your text messages?
Although you've tried some steps, please give a try to the following in the given order:
Let me know how everything goes.

Thank you Lizzy for the response. I performed the steps you listed and still the issue remains. The notifications do not come through for text messages or calendar notifications.
I use Messages (by Google) and Google Calendar. I have a Samsung S9 android version 9.
The only time the notifications work is if I have the Ionic screen awake and have swiped down to show the notifications pane. When I do this while someone sends a text, the Ionic will vibrate and show the notification. All other times, the text will come through, but the ionic will not vibrate or show the message unless I manually check the notifications pane.

Hi @firsthalf. It's nice to see you again and I'm sorry for the delayed response.
Thanks for trying the steps posted above and sharing more details about your phone. It's strange that the notifications go through your Ionic only when you go to the notifications panel. Your Samsung Galaxy S9 running Android 9 is a compatible device and since the troubleshooting didn't work I've contacted our Support team so a case can be created on your behalf. Please keep an eye on your inbox, you'll get some information about your case.
I'll be around if you need anything else. 😉
