I am unable to receive text notifications on my Charge 2 from my Galaxy s9.  Is there a patch I keep to install?

Good morning, I just want to confirm you did the following steps.
>From the mobile app, click on the envelope in the upper right corner. Under
Devices, click on Versa. Under General , click on Notifications, then click
on Text Messages. If you are receiving all you messages on your phone
through Messenger (which my device forced me to do), check the box for
Messenger. I hope this was helpful.

Yes.  I receive text notifications with just the name and a text bubble.  For about a week I do not receive the body of the text.  ARGH!!!!!  That is half the reason I purchased a FitBit.  If they don't fix soon, I'm going to buy and Apple phone and watch.  Very disappointing.

Yesterday, after the latest Fitbit app update from the google play store, my fitbit Alta HR started only showing the name of the text sender -- no message. It worked fine for months and months until then. I have the Samsung Galaxy S9. So I know it's connected/paired the right way since it's showing me that I have a text, and it's even showing me WHO texted, but the message body is no longer appearing on my Alta HR.

Yes, I had it as my text message app, but gave up and swapped it to fb
messenger.

I'm still not receiving anything. I did get a message on Twitter from Fitbit asking me to take a survey, seriously? OK, but you won't like it.

The problem still is not fixed and I'm just done.

Still no actual response from fitbit, but I also got a survey about their
service. Well so far not so good...

Hello!
I have also noticed with every update my phone does I also have to update
the watch itself. Have you tried that as well?

I'm sorry I don't understand how it is not compatible. It was working fine until a few weeks ago.My messages were coming through on my fitbit from my android just fine, then they stopped and all i get is an icon with the name of the sender. What's up with that?

7-15-19 Fitbit support said they're working on it . . . Still waiting.

My text randomly started working last week. Right after I received an email
confirming that a "higher" up tech department was working on it.

I have had my samsung s9 over a year & the text notification worked until about a month ago. Now all I get is the person's name. What do I do?

I have a Galaxy S9 as well and my text notifications stopped working also around June 27.  Fitbit says they are working on a solution to the problem. I have since had an update to the Galaxy and Fitbit, but still not working. Very disappointed.

My text messages and fb messages finally started working. It took me
contacting fitbit many times and having my issue escalated to a higher
level. I would continue to contact them.

Yes same has happened to me, just a few weeks ago I was getting my txt on my fitbit. Now all I get is the name. For fitbit to be all they say, they are not doing a very good job with the S9. Not to impressed with them.
