What fitbit model are you using @Addayhuff ?

After the latest update this was one of the problems I had. I deleted my bluetooth connection. Restarted my Fitbit and then reconnected Bluetooth. That fixed my problem. Also make sure that with the upgrade that in FitBit text notifications are still on and with your phone that Fitbit still has permission for text.
