Hello,
I have the Fitbit Charge 3 and use it with the Android app.
Which (if any) third-party analytics and similar software does the Fitbit Android app contain? This page suggests that the Fitbit Android app may contain code that communicates with a few different Facebook APIs, including Analytics and Places.
I've read Fitbit's privacy policy and am somewhat satisfied with what I see there, and understand that employing Facebook and other analytics within the app itself is probably covered under the privacy policy. However, I am intentionally not a Facebook user, and wish to avoid giving them any of my data at all. I would like to have a full understanding of specifically which third parties have access to any of my data that personally identifies me or my device, or that could plausibly be deanonymized to produce any data about me, including geolocation and/or information about my health, whether through the Android app or on the backend of Fitbit's services.
Thank you for your time.

Welcome to the Forums @gpennell.
Thanks for sharing your concerns on the matter.
It is important to mention that if you have not connected your account to any third-party accounts (Google, Facebook, etc.) then information will not be shared with any of them. I hope this answers your question.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
