This week's steps have vanished

I walked 7,500 steps on Monday and 13,019 steps on Tuesday and they have vanished from the app. I have Fitbit installed on two phones, and I turned on the second phone this evening. My step count for the two days has been reduced to the amount recorded by the second phone. How do I get my steps reinstated?
