Just returned from cape Verde and got it won't revert back to UK time. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling app but still showing 2 hours behind on clock.  Please help, has it gone wrong?

Thanks for stepping into the Forums @Hils56

In this case I would recommend that we try to reset the time zone on your account. To do so, please follow these steps:

1. Open the Fitbit app on your mobile device and tap on the Account tab.

2. Scroll to the bottom and select the 'Advanced Settings' option.

3. If you have the Automatic time zone setting, turn it off.

4. Manually select a time zone different to yours and then sync your Fitbit.

5. Go back into the advanced settings and select the proper time zone.

6. Sync your Fitbit once again.

The time should then be corrected.

Please try that and let me know how it goes!

Hello and thanks for stepping into the Forums @postipelton!

Since the steps I mentioned didn't work, I'd like to ask you some questions so that I can get better understanding of the situation:

  • What tracker are you using?
  • What mobile device are you syncing your Fitbit to?
  • How much is the time difference between the Fitbit and the real time?

Look forward to helping you get back on track.

I am having the same problem, trying to change the timezone on my Charge 2 and syncing it to a Samsung Galaxy S7. I have tried all the solutions suggested in this forum, but nothing works. Please help. Thank you.

Hey everyone -- Let's try logging into the Fitbit.com online Dashboard and adjusting your timezone setting there. Let me know if that helps.

Hi

I had an idea and went onto the website, logged in, went onto my settings
and changed the location.... Saved this and I'm back on UK time..... Please
pass this on to all who are still struggling... Thanks for the continued
support you give 🙂

Hi there Managed to solve the problem by logging into fitbit.com and physically changing the time zone in settings, literally nothing else worked. I have a blaze connected to a Samsung s6.

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.
