Your mobile gives your Surge its time @claphams

Make sure it is set to the right time zone before sync'ing by pulling down on the mobiles fitbit App screen.  If your Surge still "sticks" at the former time zone - check you App timezone setting from a browser at https://www.fitbit.com/settings/profile timezone is about midway down on the list.

(remember to hit the "submit" button all the way to the bottom prior to sync'ing again)

Hope this helps, welcome home!
