when starting an outdoor exercise how long should it take for an Ionic to locate a GPS signal? I realize that things like hills and trees will affect this, but my ionic can never seem to get a signal while my phone never has a problem...
yeah, I've got a problem. I'll get impatient after 2-3 minutes and start tracking the run with my phone. Sometimes the ionic will link up halfway into the run but I've had plenty of times where even after half an hour's run still 'searching'
Well I finally figured it out. I had been using an aftermarket metal mesh band and switching back to the original rubber band fixed the problem. The band must have been messing with the antenna. It's totally fine now.
