Today steps not displaying correctly.

On the widget and FB device, steps display correctly when the widget updates. 

The widget only updates when it is tapped and the app is launched. 

When the app is launched it displays weekly steps not daily.

When the day is brought up another large number is displayed above yesterday that is neither the weekly nor the daily steps. The steps for the day record accurately at 00:00 but appear incorrectly before.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the screenshot that was attached in your post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device are you using? When was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? If you haven't already done so, I suggest you to follow the next steps and let me know if the issue persists:

 

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the Android version is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.

I have a galaxy S9. The phone took a system update the next day and the issue seems to have resolved itself.
