Top status/control overlaps with Fitbit and Pixel 8

I have an unresponsive top status/control ribbon using the Fitbit app on a Pixel 8. The appearance is that these two ribbons overlap and prevent any control function on the ribbon. I rebooted have recent updates, etc., but no results.

Hello @Cameron53 

I have a Pixel 8 phone and the Fitbit app, but don't see the overlapping ribbons. 

Can you please share a screenshot of what you see? 

Also, what version of the Fitbit app do you have? The most current version as of today (02 Aug 2025) is 4.48. The rollout for this version was just completed this past week.
