Track exercise not recording mileage

When I select track exercise all the displays show the last 30 days readings but not the mileage?

If these are for auto-detected (SmartTrack) walks (or runs), Fitbit does not calculate distance for them, though distance does get added in to the daily total.   To get distance display, you have to use multi-sport exercise mode, starting and stopping the exercise with the side button.

 

Don't bother asking why.  That's just the way it is.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
