Tracking a walk

I have a Versa 4. I use GPS with bike, hiking and running. I use GPS for walks too, but in walks the distance is not accurate and it does not show a map of the route.  Any help regarding walks not working properly is greatly appreciated.

The new fitbit app does not allow for live tracking of a walk.  It used to show the map you just walked along with average speed and distance.

Thank you for that information.  Now I just need to figure out getting the distance to be accurate.
