In the last week I've noticed an issue that started up withere the mobile app. When I track my runs the are logged an hour in the future. Also when I log my water consumption I select a line item and it displays the log above rhetoric one I selected. I'm using a galaxy s6 and up until last week I never had this problem. There wasn't an app update recently and I've tried Uninstalling and reinstalling. Nothing seems to be working. Am I the only one having this issue or is anyone else?

Have you tried deleting the app and reinstalling it. Your information should still be there when you reinstall and login.

Yes, I did do that.  The issue still exists.  I've deduced that it is strictly an app issue.  If I log in through my laptop my info is correct other than the exercise being an hour ahead.

thats strange. my app water consumption works properly on my s7 edge. android version 6.0.1 Fitbit app version 2.30 . Not sure if this link will work , but check that everything is correct here especially the time zone and measuring units. https://www.fitbit.com/user/profile/edit

Agreed.  It is very strange.  I do have the same fitbit firmware and app as you have and I'm on an s6.  As I had mentioned earlier this only started a week ago.  Do you know where in the settings the time zone feature is?  I was looking for a  settings option but I didn't find one.

Thank you Rthamintonation. That was it. I was somehow got set to EST and I'm CST. Still not sure about the water log. It looks to be a response issue with the phone and the app. I can work around it but at least my worouts will be logged correctly. Thanks again!

Glad it worked for you. Hopefully an eventual update will fix the other issue

@Rthamilton Thanks for helping my friend @BrandonKrebs and I'm sorry to hear about the issue you experienced with the app. In case you experience the same issue, try logging out of the app, turn off your phone and turn it back on. Once this has been done, open the app, log in and try to log exercise and water in order to check out if the issue gets fixed.

I'll be around if more questions arise my friends! Smiley Happy

@BrandonKrebs Can you please share some screenshots of what you're experiencing in the water logging section of the app so I can have some clarity into the issue at hand as I am not understanding it at the moment. That will be super helpful! Thanks in advance.

I would gladly except that when I went in to take the screen shots it's working correctly now...

Just to explain it, if you look at my screen shot when I was hitting today's water log (40oz) to view my entries it showed I had none.
If I went back and hit the previous day (24oz) I would see today's water logs.  As I progress down the list of days it would show the day before it. 56 would show entries for the day for 24.  66 would show entries for the day of 56.
I don't know why it started working again.  The only thing I did was fix my time zone.  I don't think those two things would be related.
The other issue was that yesterday I woke up and had somehow registered 13 steps.  It didn't happen again today thankfully.  I'm not sure what would have caused that but it looks like that maybe a one time issue.

I think the steps is a glitch. But then again I sleep in mine and if I move around it will count as steps in my sleep

@BrandonKrebs Thank you for taking the time to confirm that this issue resolved itself.

If you start getting steps for time during sleep in the future, follow these steps to delete the data for that specific timeframe. Hope this helps.
