Tracking exercise - can't track seconds

Hello,

I'm using a Fitbit One.

I am trying to log an exercise on my fitbit app. I use the treadmill alot - and I would like to keep track of my treadmill runs. When I go into "exercise" and click "track" I am able to record the activity - however - there's an issue.

It does not let me input seconds. The app only allows me to round to the nearest minute. Example: If I do a 30 minute, 30 second walk on the treadmill - i have to either round up to 31 or round down to 30 to record it. I would like to be precise because sometimes I do spurts that I'd like to know the exact second. I don't want to round off. On the app I am only able to select hours and minutes. not seconds. Why? Please fix this!

I am using a Samsung Galaxy S5 on Android.

In the meantime, if you want to add your seconds you can log your exercise so it will give you the option to enter them manually.

I think the reply doesn't answer or resolve the issue. On the Android app you can manually add an activity and the Duration gives you fields to add the hours, minutes, and seconds BUT you can't type anything in the seconds field. I have to log on via my fitbit account on the intranet to add the activity to have seconds recorded in the in the Duration. Why cant we do this on the app in the seconds field? Why can't we type anything in the seconds section of the Duration?

Thanks for getting back @JLou37! By now, the Fitbit app on the Android phones doesn't allow you to add seconds when you track an activity, so as my friend @MarreFitbit suggested, I urge you to go to our Feature Request board and add this as an idea so our developers can take it into consideration for the next updates.

Have a great week! Cat Happy

I just got an Android and I was able to enter the seconds on the manual tracker on the iPhone but not on the android? Sounds like Fitbit is catering more to iPhone users. Also considering that this post is from 2016 sounds like Fitbit doesn't seem to care enough to accommodate Android users. I run a lot and I like to keep track of my runs by the second to see my progress. Without that this is just a glorified pedometer.
