Trouble updating and syncing my Flex 2

I have a Samsung S6 phone and I Just got a brand-new flex 2 on Saturday and it has NOT been able to update the software and has not been recording my sleep at all I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the program from my phone but im still having the same issue

Thanks for reporting the issue you're having and for doing that workaround, please confirm that you've tried the steps provided by our friend @LenaFit to update Fitbit Flex 2 software. If after doing this it won't connect please let me know!

I have tried all of that and now it is not even registering my footsteps (as a massage therapist i tend to put the "watch" on my bra strap)  but even yesterday i walked with it on my wrist for an hour and it is telling me that I did 0 steps what should i do and how do i do it

Since your Flex 2 is still having internal issues, I've created a Support Case on your behalf, you should soon receive an email from Customer Support at the email you used to register with the Community forums.
