I am unable to search or scan food items to log them in my fitbit app. I have already force stopped the app and restarted with no resolve. Foods in my recent and frequent lists appear but I'm unable to search for anything new.

Same. Started this evening. I have cleared the cache, forced stopped the app, rebooted the phone, logged back in, did the resync. Nothing. Still not working.
100% Agree. Same steps - Forced stop, clear cache, restart phone, checked for updates, uninstall/reinstall, and still nada. All though I'm glad I'm not the only one, still disappointed. Have google pixel and charge 6
this seems the be a reoccurring issue. trying to log food. could not scan successfully. could not search for anything. can Fitbit post or update their app status if there is a legitimate issue with logging food?

same. Still down 7 hours after it started for me. Did all the same steps as everyone else. Hopefully it will be fixed in the morning.

I'm having the same issue. I've force stopped, cleared cache and even reinstalled the app. But the food database is not showing up. It's N/A and when I click to select there are no options.
I find the food tracking very glitchy, my calories burned is often not synced with my calorie intake.

Even if you have already tried some steps, please try the following in the order listed:
In addition, if you're using Wi-Fi, try switching to mobile data.
Also, confirm that your Fitbit app is syncing correctly.
Same story. Galaxy A35. Doesn't do search. Was fine several hours ago. Have done everything except clear data. Cleared cache. Auto updates. Did app stop force quit. Turned wifi off. Tried muttering obscenities. Still Nadal.
Food database down in New Zealand.
Frequently Used, Recently Used and Custom items show, but cannot search.
When I scan the barcodes it says Fitbit is down for maintenance.
Same, No data appears when trying to find items, even basic things like eggs, fruits and veggies. Can’t log any of that information. Tried updating app, force quitting. App doesn’t seem to query the backend for the food lookup.
