I am unable to search or scan food items to log them in my fitbit app. I have already force stopped the app and restarted with no resolve. Foods in my recent and frequent lists appear but I'm unable to search for anything new.

Trying to input my breakfast, as soon as I save ... nothing. If I'm having this iss, then I know from past experience, I'm not the only person having it.
I'm having to write everything down in hopes Google will fix this.
I got my Fitbit in 2013 and never had such issues till Google bought it out and apparently turned it into a stepchild.

Agreed. Google is not able to maintain the standards of Fitbit. I will be sad to go but not willing to settle. Time to say goodbye

I was able to log my breakfast this morning without any problems. Now, I can't log anything. Hopefully, this will be fixed soon.

I'm feeling the same way, but where to go and still be able to track and sync with my pixel watch.
The whole reason I got the watch was to be able to sync with my Fitbit app.
I've been a premium user for decades!

Same with me.
I input my morning coffee, it takes. Then I input the creamer and it deletes the coffee and saves the creamer.
ARGH!!!!!

Hi everybody! Thank you for your reports.
Our team has been made aware of the issue but need some info to investigate this.
Could you please answer the following questions:
Log food feature is not working as expected, does this happen with the (+) plus sign in the dashboard or when you are in the food site in the app?
Does this happen with every meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, etc) or only for specific?
Does this affect custom food or also the ones listed in the data base?
Are you using an Android device or an iOS (iPhone /iPad?
The more info you all can share the better our team can look into this.

Hi Juan,
1. Happens either way.
2. For me, I was able add my breakfast, morning snack and lunch as normal. I came to add my dinner and it would only add one item. If I add a further item to my dinner, the item added latest replaces the item added initially. If I add something to my evening snack, it replaces he one item I recorded as my dinner with that item.
3. Happens with both custom and database items.
4. Android.
Hope it gets fixed ASAP.
Thanks, Bianka

Android phone. I was able to log a morning snack, but no breakfast or lunch. I have only tried the database, nothing custom (although everything was fine last night, including an evening custom snack).

Q: Log food feature is not working as expected, does this happen with the (+) plus sign in the dashboard or when you are in the food site in the app?
A: Yes, I click +, then add the item, it appears then, when going to main screen, calories remain a -0-, go back to "Today" and the input item is gone.
Q: Does this happen with every meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, etc) or only for specific?
A: Yes, same thing happens, regardless of the meal being input.
Q: Does this affect custom food or also the ones listed in the data base?
A: Yes, this affects all food input, data base and custom.
Q: Are you using an Android device or an iOS (iPhone /iPad?
A: I use Pixel 7 Pro XL & Pixel Watch
I hope this is helpful. I'm quite frustrated, as you can imagen..
I'm writing everything down the old-fashioned way, pencil & paper, until this is fixed.

Mostly same issue Bianka described. In my case I report that any food added disappears when I exit input screen (and calories count does not stack with the food values.

Had the same problem awhile ago and it was fixed but this time if I put anything in it will appear and then disappear as soon as I put in another item. Very frustrating trying to input my data/food for the day, hopefully it gets fixed quicker than the last time.

Happens in the app, database is available but only allows one item being logged anything more deletes previous entry. I'm using the app on my android phone.

Hello!
Basically what happens is I go to log a food and then either the food I logged is immediately deleted or a previous food that was logged this morning is deleted. O rhyme or reason.
it happens with both the + in the food app
it happens with every meal
it happens with both custom and database. And it happens if I relocate it or select from recent or frequent.
I am on iOS. Thanks

I’m having exactly the same experience as Bianka-Z213. All ok until after lunch, then items added appear in log but then disappear within seconds. I’ve offloaded app, reinstalled, turned iPhone 12 off and on again. I’ve also checked that I have the latest update
TIA Jo
