Hello @alfieshanks, nice to have you here! In this case the phone you are using has not been listed as a compatible so this can caused the tracker doesn't behave as is expected since the app is not optimized to run in these mobile devices.
It wouldn't hurt to try the troubleshooting steps:
If that does not work, I suggest setting up and syncing via a device listed as supported or using a computer. Our team is always working to test and add more Android devices to the supported devices list, so keep an eye open for updates!

Best AnswerI also had the same issue with my Charge 2 not connecting properly with the Huawei P8 Lite and my wife's Alta HR was not recognised at all by the same phone. I spoke to Huawei support directly last night and they confirmed it is a known issue that very few of the Huawei phones will work with the Fitbit bands and despite discussions between the two companies no one knows why and there is no planned fix date. I have returned both P8 Lite phones as not fit for purpose as a result.
I did however find that the Alta HR would work on my daughters Honor 6A which is odd given they use the same overlay of EMUI 5.1

Is there any update regarding this issue? My huawei bluetooth can see the fitbit tracker, but everytime when I am pressing pair it doesnt work..
