Unable to edit Exercises in Android app

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Fitbit help says to tap the pencil icon to edit exercise details. However in my Android app there is no pencil icon nor any other discernible means to edit the details once I have entered them. All I have found to do is delete the exercise and then re-enter it with the correct details. What am I missing?

Hello @bbran, I hope you're doing well, it's nice to see you around. Smiley Happy

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience wtih us. Please note that manually logged activities and activities tracked from the Exercise app on your Vera/Ionic/Charge 3 can't be edited.

Most Fitbit devices automatically recognize and record high-movement activities at least 15 minutes long through the SmartTrack feature. Sync your device to see basic stats about your activity in your exercise history and these activities are the ones you can edit.

I hope this resolves your inquiry, if there's anything else we can do for you, please feel free to reply.

That's interesting, because my wife's charge 2, an older lower scale Fitbit model can edit the manually entered exercise details. Anyone know why the difference?

FYI, it does not recognize skiing. Therefore, the need to manually enter exercise detail.

This is disappointing as in previous app versions you were able to manually add these. Many exercises such as indoor cycling, boxing, hiit ... Aren't automatically recognised by Fitbit Alta. Maybe it's time for a different product...
