Hi everyone,

Our team is aware of an issue within the Fitbit for Android App version 2.52 where Flex 2 users can't update their swim settings under the 'Advanced' settings section. They are working on this and hope to have a fix soon! Thanks to everyone who has reported this problem and we thank you for your patience.

Meanwhile, please update your swim settings through the online dashboard

Hi my beloved Fitbit community,

I just realized that from my mobile phone's dashboard (OS Android 6.0) the swimming pool settings (pool length settings) has disappeared. Previously it was available from Account-> Advanced settings-> Swimming settings. Now the app is just simply not showing that option anymore.

Is this feature moved to anywhere else within the Dashboard app or is this a bug? (On my Win 10 PC Fitbit app the Swimming settings still available)

Thank you in advance Cat Happy

In the last week the swimming / pool length setting under advanced settings has disappeared in my app.

I swim in two pools one 25m and 50m so kind of annoying.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Hi, @Jawida! It is nice to have you here. Man Tongue Hmmm...this is very weird. Have you tried to log out and back of the App?

You can also try to reboot your phone and make sure that you are running the latest version of the App. (version 2.52)

I hope this helps, let me know what happens please! Man Wink

Hi, thanks for your post. Yeah, I'm on v2.52 on the latest version and firmware. I've rebooted, logged back in, reinstalled the app and installed the App on my old Galaxy S5 and had the same problem.

Option was there before the last update on 27/6. Going to dig out the iPhone 4S next!

I am also having this problem, the option is simply not there. I am all up to date, I have even reinstalled the app but it has vanished. I have just changed pools and it's the only reason I bought the fitbit, very annoying!

My advanced settings do not have "swim settings". Why is that? I have the auto-recognize on for swimming. Have android OS

Hello @Missusch, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community. From your Android app is very easy to enter the pool length you want:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon User-added image
  2. Scroll down to Settings and tap or click Advanced Settings.
  3. Tap or click Swimming Settings
  4. Enter the pool length and unit of measurement (meters or yards).

Hope this helps and let me know if you need something else!

I've just started swimming with my flex 2 and the option to set pool length has vanished from the app. I can't remember if I saw it at all or if I just saw the option online.

How would one get this back?

Hello

I have just found the same. I went for a swim and could not enter swim length. I am very frustrated with the Fitbit and app.

I went for a swim tonight after installing the latest update but the option to change the length of the swim length in the swim setting has disappeared. I have tried restarting phone and app and uninstalling but nothing. I also spent so long messing about I had a shorter swim than I wanted.

Please help.

@SlappySlippy  @CBridge  There has been a recent change on the Android app, but at this time apparently not the iOS app.  On Android to change the pool length you now need to go to the website dashboard (NOT the app).  Click the gear icon in the top right, scroll right and select flex 2 and on the page that comes up you can change the pool length.  Let us know how you go.

Welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community @BornBede and thank you for keep me updated @Missusch. Also I appreciate you have reported this @CBridge and I wanted to informed you I took the liberty to merge your post with these other cases.

In the meantime I would recommend to try the steps of the following post to restart the app. Also let me know if you are using a supported mobile device and which version of the Fitbit app are you running on your mobile phones?

So far this is a glitch affecting this portion of the Fitbit app and our teams are working to roll a fix in the future. I will let you know as soon I got more updates.

Thank you for your patience, see you soon!

That's what mine looks like too. Swim setting has disappeared. I am using version 2.52 of the Fitbit app and have a Samsung Galaxy phone. The swim setting was there before the update.
