Unable to log into Android app

My 6 week old fitbit charge 4 quit tracking steps, zone minutes, mood, and sleep, so I uninstalled and reinstalled app on my Android phone.  I Was asked for email address and password.  I entered what I had been using, but...  I was told the email address was taken by another account.  Well, that's my address.  My wife uses a different address for her fitbit.  We only have two.

Sounds like maybe you were trying to create new account.  Rather than creating new account, you should be using the login option, using account already created.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

@keithld I've moved your post to the Android board so you can receive more related responses. As @JohnnyRow mentioned, please make sure to choose the "Log In" option and follow the onscreen instructions to access your Fitbit account. You can always double check if the Fitbit app is updated to ensure its functionality on your Android phone.
