Unable to remove or add people to challenge

I have a Charage 2 watch.

For doing weekly challenges I cannot remove names from my list or add new people. 

Did what was suggested.

Really don't want to remove app and reinstall.

Would I loose my info?

Hi @Gardengirl2. Welcome on board and I'm sorry for the delayed response.

 

Thanks for letting me know about this situation and the steps that you've tried to add and remove people from the challenges list. About your question, your data already synced in your account will not be erased when uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app. Before anything else let me clarify that with some challenges you and the rest of the participants can add more people to the challenge, however there isn't an option to remove that people from the challenge.

 

Now, since you're not able to add more people, I'd recommend the following steps:

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. On your phone's settings tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  3. Go back one screen and tap on force stop.
  4. Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app.
  5. Reboot your phone.
  6. Open the Fitbit app, tap on your existent challenge > Options > Invite More People. If you don't have an existent one, just start a new challenge.

 

Give it a try and let me know how it goes.

Hi Lizzy,I uninstalled and reinstalled twice.When I go to the 3 dots at top on right and go to invite more people I still cant.Tried under Contacts,  friends and facebookCannot not add name at bottom where it reads to with an arrow under any of those titles, it does not allow me to do this.
If I click on magnify glasss where it says add players and type name nothing happens.Very discouraged with this.Sue Voelz

If you have, please provide me with your phone's model and OS version, as well with a screenshot of what is displayed on the Fitbit app when searching for a friend.
