I have downloaded the latest app, however when I attempt to set up the tracker on my phone, the blue tooth on my phone will not recognize my tracker.

Hi there @mmccaslin1, a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community. My apologies for the late response and I'm wondering how it goes, were you able to pair your Charge 2?
The Samsung Galaxy S9+ still is not confirmed as a compatible mobile devices, however this is not an statement that the app will not work. If the issue continue, it would not hurt to give it a try to this article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?
