Hello @Francis1989, good to see you have joined to the Fitbit Community! Indeed, sometimes it can take a few minutes to recognized the four digit code of your tracker to continue, but in your case you mentioned you waited for one hour with no response from your tracker or the Fitbit app.

If the issue persists make sure of the following:

Make sure your device is supported in our list of compatible devices. Also review Power Saving Mode is turned off on your device. This mode frequently causes the device to disable Bluetooth. If your Android is running a version 6.0+, make sure you have location services turned on and the Fitbit app has permission to access your location.

Now lets go back to your app and tracker and try the following suggestions:

  1. Turn off Bluetooth on your phone; wait 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
  2. Try setting up your device again.
  3. Turn your Fitbit device off and back on using the instructions in this post.
  4. Try setting up your device again.
  5. If you can't set up after a restart, reboot your phone or tablet (turn it off and then back on).
  6. Try setting up your device again.

Hope this helps and let me know how it goes.

@Francis1989, do you have other Bluetooth devices nearby that could interfere with the phone picking up the Bluetooth signal from the tracker, such as another Fitbit device, headsets, etc.?  If so, try moving them out of range or turn off their Bluetooth.

I just purchased a Fitbit Charge HR as well, and am having the same problem. Did you ever get this figured out? (I'm sure since your post was from over a year ago you did) but in that case how did you get your phone to finally connect with your Fitbit?
