Unable to set up my charge HR

I have been using charge HR since 2016. It was not syncing so I deleted the device and have been trying to set up device for many hours now. It asks me to put the numbers from my Fitbit on to my device and then keeps showing connecting. It doesn’t go forward.

I'm having this same problem but mine (also charge hr) won't even get to the code part.  Ever since I updated to the new software on may 6th, my watch stopped syncing.  Didn't notice until the 15th.  Deleted the watch from app and am now unable to get it back.  Have reset watch, rebooted phone a bunch of times, and some other things with no luck.  Recent app reviews show many people unable to sync so hopefully fitbit will fix this software glitch soon.  I use to log sleep and pulse for doctors and am really disappointed that this issue has taken so long to correct.
