Unable to setup Versa 2

I have bought a new Versa 2 watch, after I broke my Versa.

So I already have Fitbit App installed on my Samsung Android phone.

It the Fitbit App, I've removed the Versa device.

Then I turned on Bluetooth which recognised that Versa 2 was an Available Device. However when I selected it, I got a message saying "Pairing not accepted by Versa 2".

What should I do? I have already got the latest Android software update.

In case anyone else has the same issue: I upgraded the fitbit app on my phone, then I went through the same steps as before and it connected to the Versa 2 without any issues.

The existing data that was already on my fitbit app didn't get deleted, so that was good too.

Hello @JennyCOz, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for the details that were shared in your post and for troubleshooting this situation prior to posting. To better assist you, can you please let me know which Android mobile device are you using? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check all the information that's specified on: How do I set up my Fitbit device? to check if all the requirements are correctly configured to setup your device. Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.

Please make sure that your mobile device is compatible because due to a compatibility concern you can experience connection difficulties.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

I'm having the same issue on my Google Pixel 2. But I didn't delete my Versa because I still have it and don't necessarily want to delete it. But it won't let me Link my New Versa 2. It Let me link my Fitbit Flyer headphone Recently but now not my New Versa 2.

Hi @Korychurch4 welcome aboard, sorry for the delay in responding your post.

Thanks for troubleshooting this situation prior to posting. To better assist you and so we can move forward with this situation, can you please let me know if at the moment you try to setup your Fitbit Versa 2 your Fitbit Versa is still paired to your account? This could be to root cause of the setup concern. Please unpair the Fitbit Versa first and then try the setup process of the Versa 2.

Keep me posted.
