My versa 2 fitbit won't connect. Every time I try to connect it, it keeps going back to my original screen

To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which Android mobile device are you using with your Versa 2? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check all the information that's specified on: How do I set up my Fitbit device? to check if all the requirements are correctly configured to setup your device. Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.
Please make sure that your mobile device is compatible because due to a compatibility concern you can experience connection difficulties.

Sorry if im hijacking your thread but im having a similar issue. Im switching from a charge 2 to a versa 2. I removed the old device. I selected the add device and picked versa 2. Then selected the button, setup your versa 2. The wizard opened and immediately closed. If you try it againit jusg does ghe same. Im using a Samsung s10e.
