Unable to sync Fitbit

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

So apparently I am not the only to experience the syncing issue.

I am not sure as to what should be done. As nothing has worked.

Is it honestly worth my time calling Fitbit themselves if I am going to get no where with them either, as others have expressed.

I have owned 2 of these now. Bought both of them.

Yall should I get another one or go to another version of a smartwatch??

Hello @Ashleyclark4198, welcome to the Community Forums!

First, I appreciate your effort and patience for troubleshooting this situation prior to posting, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which Android mobile device are you using with your Fitbit? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.

Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

Keep me posted, I'll be around if you need anything else.

Ok thank you.
But neither helped.
Restarted everything multiple times.
Tried to hard sync.
Nothing is working.

I've been fighting this too. Sometimes it syncs my steps but none of my challenges. Really getting tired of this. Apparently, fitbit isn't supporting some phones. I'm if mine is one of them. I'm using an LG G5 with android version 8.0.0.

Your update is appreciated @Ashleyclark4198. Welcome aboard @FluffyLove. Sorry for the delayed reply.

Thanks for troubleshooting this situation with me. Since the steps from my previous post didn't resolve your concern, please try the following:

  1. Restart your Fitbit one more time.
  2. Please on the phone, go to Settings > Bluetooth, and remove all the connections that exist with the device. (Forget device, ignore or unpair depending on the version of the operating system of the phone).
  3. Turn off the Bluetooth and restart the phone. (Switch off and on again).
  4. When the mobile device is back on, turn the Bluetooth on again but do not attempt to connect to the Fitbit from here.
  5. Go on the app and try setting up the Fitbit as a new device.

Looking forward to your reply if further assistance is needed.
