Unable to update firmware version

I have just bought a fitbit charge but cant get it to update from the app. It is syncing fine

To better assist you with this, can you please specify if you're using a Fitbit Charge, Charge HR, Charge 2 or Charge 3? I recommend you to learn more about how to update the firmware version of your Fitbit device with the information that's specified on this help article.
