Unable to upload pictures on Fitbit app

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Lately I cannot upload any photos via the fitbit android app. I can't upload to my own page, groups or change my pictures.

When I select photo option the screen goes white and like it refreshes to the same screen and when I click photo option again it says Fitbit keeps stopping / app info / close app / send feedback ... but none of these options work except for close app.

I have all the correct permissions. This is new as I've been able to upload pictures before.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Revoked all permission and set up again.

Please help

I have the same exact problem.  I did everything that you did as well.  I'm using a Galaxy s10e.  So disappointing.

I had similar issues. I had to buy "Fitbit alta hr" to sync and then it worked again. I thought it was possible to just use your mobile phone. (Mobile tracker as it said) From the beginning i had a Fitbit which i sold. But i like the Fitbit forums so i stayed even though i use Garmin. Then it suddenly stopped to work. I bought another Fitbit Alta for sync and then it worked again. So having a Fitbit seems to be a requirement.

I’m having the same problem in the app as well. Makes me so sad because I LOVE to add pics from my walks. I have an iPhone 8 and no longer are able to add pics.

Hello!

Did you try this?

  1. Sync your Fitbit device with the Fitbit app
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  3. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  4. Make sure that your Fitbit app is up-to-date
  5. Reboot your mobile device.
  6. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  7. Login using your account credentials.

My solution was to buy a Samsung watch lol. Too many bugs with Fitbit.  Then I started having issues with the watch itself (screen unresponsive) , just over a year old  and it was out of warranty.  They offered me 25% off and I had to use the code in 30 days. I would never spend a dollar with Fitbit.  Poor customer service.

So yall understand the situation but there still is no fix for it. People been having this issues for over a year and no one has figured nothing out on your end. 🤦🏽 why is there nothing but issues with all of your products.

I have tried multiple times to upload a photo & cover but it just shows a broken thumbnail and thats it. Doesnt change anything.

I've tried the app, I have tried the website, nothing changes. Same issue.

Sad this seems to not have any feedback...

This is happening to me too. I got a new Luxe and have yet to be able to upload any pictures. It is crazy to me that this hasn't been fixed yet and it's been over a year!

Hi Lucifer, thank you for your instructions. Unfortunately, I cannot uninstall the website or reinstall it. As the same issue happens outside the app, it is clearly a bug with the actual programing. No amount of reinstalling or updating will fix a code that just isn't running.

I've uploaded 2 photo's this morning and since then, have not been able to upload any more.
When I access my feed, click the photo icon, select Complete Action Using Images, I choose the photo I want to upload the screen goes black before getting the message that the app has stopped working.
This has happened 5 times.

I have accessed the app in Google. Forced Stop. Uninstalled. Reinstalled. Synced with my fitbit. Allowed access to photos and files. Still getting the same issue.

I have a Sony Xperia L3
Is there an update on your post please?
