Having posted an enquiry here and not having got a satisfactory answer or resolution eventually you get an email.
This asks if your question has been answered. It then goes on to encourage you to chose a best answer.
All well and good but how do you reply NO? What is the point of asking the question in the first place? By all means feel free to send a message saying 'if your question has been answered don't forget to select best answer'. But don't ask a question that cannot be answered.
Over time I have asked several things that have never been answered so receiving these emails are just adding insult to injury.

My guess is that this is automated because so many people get the answer but never bother marking it solved. It has no way of knowing whether or not there was a helpful answer. It sounds like your issue is really just with the wording of the email that somebody might not have worded the best. If you did not get a good answer, then certainly to not feel you should select one.

Hi @JohnnyRow, that is my point. An automated response asking a question that cannot be answered. It just comes across as another example of fitbit not actually wanting to listen to us. You want to say 'no', we're not going to let you.
Also if a moderator ignores some of the questions in a post and you reply, once the thread is off the front page that's it. You will never get another reply. Ask again and you get your knuckles rapped for cross posting or whatever. People here try their best to help each other and I know that some things cannot be fixed at our end. It would be nice if that were the case we were told, rather than left in limbo. These sort of things just leave me feeling frustrated and disappointed.
