Update charge 3 black screen resolved

I just pt my blank charge 3 back on the charger and took a ball point pen to push on/off button. Got a vertical line. Push the on/off again hard with the pen and my screen came on with a happy face. It then displayed correct face info. Each time, I left button pushed in for 15 seconds. Good luck all. Very frustrating for a new fitbit.

Sounds like it turned off. Use a small ballpoint pen and push hard in button on side. Should turn on. Then put in charger to see how much charge you have.Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

Hi, My screen has done this, and you don't need ball point pen.first of all
your need to connect to your charger, make sure it is snapped in place
good. Then push in and hold your button until the battery image comes on.
When it does, release the button. In a few seconds, take charger off. Then,
if you need to charge, just hook back on your charger .the battery image
will come back on , and then charge as usual. This really works for me,
and I hope you will let me know how you do. Good luck.:sun_with_face:👍

Hello. Please make sure it is connected good to the charger, then push and
hold. This could take several seconds. When the battery icon comes on,
release the button.Wait a few seconds and detatch charger. Then, if you
need to charge , hook back up to charger like usual. I hope this works for
you. It does for me, and I've had to do it myself several times.👍

Please try again, making sure your charger is connected well to the fitbit.
Then hold the button in until the battery icon comes on. This might take a
little time, but it should come on. After it does, remove charger. Then,
if you need to charge, just cbarge as usual. 👍:sun_with_face:

Is the charger connected right to your fitbit? Make sure it is, then hold
pin in until battery icon appears. It might take several seconds. After
it does, remove charger. If your fit bit needs a charge, reconnect and
charge as usual.I have had to do this to my charge 3 several times, and it
does work. Good luck. :sun_with_face:
