Update for Android 6 is an Older Version?

Just gone to Play store to find the latest update v 3.4 - I have an Android 6 phone so didn't expect v 3.5, but an older Fitbit update is showing - v 2.75.1 (from August 2018).

I'm guessing we're being taken back to the last version which worked best, which is fine - just as long as my Fitbit works properly again!  I'm not very techie though - because I'm 'downgrading' to an older version, does this mean I'll need to uninstall and reinstall the app - and when I do, will I lose any of my stats?  Need to know before my weekend challenges begin lol!

Thanks in advance!

Hi @tdog21  your stats stay on the server at Fitbit. Unless you change accounts, your latest history is there as long as you were able to sync. It could be that an older phone won't get the newer app. A friend of mine has a Samsung Core Prime with Android 6 and has v. 2.75.1 and is doing challenges and synching just fine. Hope things work out well for you. No weekly challenges?

Thank you @Odyssey13 - sucessfully uninstalled and reinstalled the 'downdated' app and everything is indeed still there and my Fitbit is syncing fine once more - yay!  I do have weekly challenges as well but was prepared to sacrifice those if I needed to - but thankfully they're all still there as well.  Thank you again 🙂
