Hi Fitbit,
while I'm happy that the UI for the weight data graph got a long needed update, I'm very sad that it renders the whole point of weight tracking useless.
My main issue is, that over longer time-frames the number of data points shown is way too low. As an example: when I look into my all-time overview, I only get 6 averaged data points for the 6 years I collected my information? Please give me back the ability to see longer time frames with more detail.
Also I'm really missing the old lean mass view that had the nice combined graph of fat and lean mass. It was visually very easy to grasp and a big motivator. The new lean mass tab is super useless as it's only the inverted body fat percentage. No new information I could gather from that.
But cudos to the daily tab (that is kinda hidden). I think that's a really nice addition and gives a motivating overview of the current stats.
So, dear Fitbit UI/UX team, please consider giving better graph views to the data nerds 🙂
100% agree with you.
There is a work around to acces the old screen which is to click on the three dots in the top right of the weight screen, and select manage data. Then review your data. If only there was a quicker way to this.
Best AnswerOh, great find! Thanks so much for sharing!
Best AnswerHm, but the year display also only gives me averaged months, which I find a pretty low resolution - especially compared to the older view.
For me personally the average over a year or a month is a pretty useless information without the variance: there might be single outlier days that heavily shift the average. And with the older "high-res" view I could see these.
