Hi, I would've loved to upgrade (and pay) for the new Versa 2. But I have a Samsung J5 phone which stopped working after the last app update. (with Fitbit since January 2015, 3 devices since). I've been told this device is no longer supported. Please will you assure me that if I get a new phone (one of those that are listed in supported devices), that my Fitbit Charge 3 will work with it.

Hello @AmandaJayne123, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums!
I appreciate all the information and details that were shared in your post. Just as per previously mentioned, your Samsung Galaxy J5 is not listed as a compatible device with our products and services, therefore, you may experience certain connection difficulties with it.
When a mobile device is not listed as compatible, we cannot ensure a proper function of all your device features due to Fitbit app, device and Android updates. That being said, with a compatible device you should not experience any inconvenience because such devices were tested to ensure that they work properly with our Fitbit products and the Fitbit app as well, this is the reason why we always recommend our users to use compatible devices to enjoy the Fitbit experience in full.
Let me know if you have any additional questions.
