Using Charge 6 without a phone

Hi,
I've bought a Charge 6 to replace my broken Charge 5. However, my phone is stuck on Android 8.0 and wont support newer versions. The app is broken on that version and I can't connect any new devices. It will just keep bugging me about migrating to Google and then the app gets stuck as soon as I try. Reinstalling the app and restarting the phone did nothing. If I press "maybe later", it just brings me back to the device overview.

I heard of a desktop app, but it seems like that has been shut down too. Buying a new phone is not an option for many reasons.

Is there ANY other option I can get this working? I can pass on the app features, but not on the initial sync or the occassional fixing of the time.

Hi @Proker2  only a compatible iOS or Android phone or tablet will work for these devices. Charge 6 will require you have a Google account. There is no workaround other than if you have a friend willing to let you set up and sync to their newer phone or tablet. You'd still be able to see limited data on the computer or the website from your Android 8 phone. Other than that, there's not much more you can do.

Stepping in the U.S.A. since September 2013. Android 14
