Versa 2 won't setup with Samsung S8

So I already looked at all the other topics on versa 2 not connecting to android.  None of the solutions worked.

 

Already restarted my versa 2, already did reset to factory settings, already uninstalled and reinstalled the app, already turned bluetooth off and on.

 

Nothing worked.

 

Now I have the initialize screen on my versa 2 telling me to install the app, which I did.

 

The app tried to connect, I got a pairing request..   then nothing.  Still have the same set up screen on my versa 2 and it will not connect to the app.

 

Phone: Samsung galaxy S8

 

Help!!

Perhaps you misunderstood my post.
I have already set up and connected my Versa 2 to.my phone and everything worked fine for 3+months.
Then, suddenly, and with no changes set up or configuration, it stopped syncing.
I went through every step recommended in both things you reference and it still will  not connect.
