Versa Lite - Apps aren't downloading

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have the Versa Lite and I made the mistake of trying to download multiple apps and a clock face at once. Now, all the apps will not stop downloading and when the pop up that says "would you like these apps to continue dowbloading" and I say no, they keep downloading anyways. I tried deleting the app and restarting my phone and Fitbit but nothing is working. I cant download any apps or anything while this is going on.

Hi @CTDN. It's nice to see a new face around.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the steps tried prior posting. Nice way to start! Since there are multiple download requests, the Fitbit app and your watch might be stuck in that process. To work on this, I'd recommend to try the following steps:

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. Verify if the Fitbit app is updated.
  3. On your phone's settings, tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  4. Go back one screen and tap on force stop.
  5. Reboot your phone one more time.
  6. Open the Fitbit app, log back in and sync your watch.

If you continue seeing the prompt to continue the download process, reply back to this post so I can take a deeper look.

Let me know how everything goes.

i pressed install on multiple apps for my fitbit versa under 30 seconds and now they're all stuck on the loading symbol and i've tried to turn off my phone and logging out and back in, but it’s still not working. It’s been like this for hours

Hi @Hcherry23. Welcome! It's nice to have you on board.

Thanks for sharing that your Versa is having the same issues, as well for the steps tried on your own. I'm sorry that you're having this experience and let me give you a hand. To work on this together, may I know the model and OS/software version of your phone? Have you also tried the troubleshooting tips posted above?

In the meantime, I'd recommend to remove your Versa from the Bluetooth settings on your phone, open the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Set Up a Device > replace device and follow the onscreen instructions to reconnect it to your account. Once the process is done, try installing your apps one more time.

I'll look forward to your reply.
