Versa Lite stopped syncing after update

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I am having a problem with my Versa Lite syncing with my phone, After the update on the 15th.

I have done a full restart of my Fitbit, turned off Bluetooth and then reconnected, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, restarted my phone and nothing. At this point there hasn't been a syncing event since yesterday, 05/19/20. My device does not show the correct time so all of my alarms are wrong, I don't get notifications either. Very frustrating.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @KatAdams.

I am sorry to hear your Versa Lite is not syncing with your phone after the update. Thanks for trying to resolve this, I totally understand how you are feeling and I am here to help. I recommend doing the following:

  1. On your phone, tap Settings > Bluetooth and find your device on the list.
  2. Tap Forget or Forget Device.
  3. Restart your phone and try to sync your watch again.

You can find the complete troubleshooting instructions in this help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

To troubleshoot the issue with notifications, please see Why are notifications delayed or missing?

Keep me posted on the outcome, I'll be around.

I have actually done this already. Now, my phone doesn't even pick up my
versa as an option to connect to. I have restated both my phone and my
versa multiple times.
The articles you reference are useless to me.

I have a Galaxy S9+, everything worked great, until this last update. Ever
since that update, I have had nothing but problems.

I've had the same problem, and now they are saying my phone is not compatible with the fitbit, even though it worked for over a year before the update!

I have had the exact same problem with mine, they told me my phone was not compatible, but it worked perfectly well for the 8 months before the update. I tried to get my fitbit to connect to various different iphones and laptops and iPads that other members of my family have and NONE of them work with my fitbit!!!

It took me hours to get my Versa Lite to sync with my phone, so I could
install the update, so frustrated.

Finally got them to sync, took awhile to install the update. However; my
Versa still doesn't want to sync with my phone, still shows the incorrect
time, why have a watch if it shows the wrong time? Why even have a Fitbit
update? Why continue to wear this?

Definitely going to check out other options.
