Versa & Media Control: Sometime it works, most times it won't.

So, I've followed all of the suggestions given on multiple threads.  

My Versa is Paired with my fully updated Android 7.1.2 Kyocera Brigadier.

I can ALWAYS go to "music controls" and manipulate the volume with the hard keys, but only occasionally, at random, for no known procedure set, will the Music Controls actually appear onscreen.

When they do, they work fine.  But I can never replicate the circumstances that allowed them to appear.

Really, what's up with that?

Not rebooting the phone, nor rebooting the watch, nothing. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't.

This is beyond frustrating.

@Mr.Clean Welcome! It's good that the community is growing! Sorry to hear that you can't control your music from your phone. 

Your phone doesn't show as compatible but you can try refreshing the link between them by going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your device. After this try syncing them. Also, since you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
