Versa and Flyer not connecting to Pixel

I work in tech and do understand the lag in testing and developing for constantly updating and changing devices. While patient, I am still disappointed that every two weeks my Versa stops syncing and updating data and requires a lengthy reset. It's a beautiful piece, and I want to support Fitbit ... so please add another piece of feedback to the ticket asking for more dedication to the Pixel integration.

Also, I bought the wireless headset for a pretty penny, and they seem to also struggle connecting to my Pixel bluetooth set. Is this the same issue as the Versa and other Fitbit connections?

Thanks!

Hello @Thatgirlwholaug.

Thanks for your feedback, patience and for everything that you have tried to get them to work consistently.

At this moment it is only the Pixel 3 that is not a supported device. The Pixel and Pixel 2 have already been included to the list. Having said that, we are experiencing an issue with Android 9 that is preventing syncing and connection between the Fitbits and the phones. That could be why you are experiencing difficulties, if you have one if the supported Pixel phones.

Let me know if there are any further questions.

I just received my versa and have been able to get it synced with my Pixel 2 phone. However, I cannot get it to Bluetooth to my phone or download the firmware update. The Fitbit seems to be worthless until the firmware is downloaded. I also have restarted my phone and versa. Installed/ uninstalled the app. I don't know what else to do. I have also tried pairing the phone/fit bit through the phone and app with not success.

Welcome to the  Forums @Cjd03.

Thanks for trying all of those steps to get it to work

Perhaps you could try to follow all of the steps listed in this help article. It should definitely help in getting the firmware update to go through.
