Versa and Huawei P20

When I got my versa I had no problem with syncing and receiving notifications but now the watch does not receive any notifications and is not syncing automatically. This is very frustrating, It says the Notification service is not running and I need to restart my phone. I have tried the following:

1. Restarting my phone.

2. Restarting my watch.

3. checking all permissions.

4. Turning Bluetooth on and off. 

I am very frustrated.

No it is the P20. Not pro or Lite. Will try to apply the Lite instructions
as far as possible to see if it maybe will work on the p20. Will let you
know.
