Fitbit Versa is not syncing to the app.

It shows a "Bluetooth sync error"

Tried restarting both phone and app. Adding/removing the device. Deleting cache data. Reinstalling app. Nothing seems to be working.

Welcome to the Forums @Ionna13.

Thanks for taking the share all of those details and the steps that you have tried to get it to work.

I'd like to recommend that you could try to follow the steps listed in this help article. While some of the steps listed in this help article you have already tried, please try going through all of them in order.

In the meantime, I'd like to ask what phone is it that you are running and when did this situation start to happen.

Look forward to your reply.

@LanuzaFitbit Thank you for your quick reply!

My phone is Lenovo(Previously Motorola) Moto E4 Plus. I did try all the mentioned steps, but still, it shows the sync error.

I've been having this error from the past week (19th Jan 2019).

(But surprisingly, my Fitbit versa did sync to another phone when I logged into the app with my credentials. That was a One Plus 6T phone)

Hello @Ionna13.

Thanks for reaching all of those details.

This might've happened because the Moto E4 is not is not part of the supported devices list, while the OnePlus 6 is. That could explain why the latter did sync. The phone not being on the list means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone.

As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Some users of unsupported devices have mentioned that following the steps I shared above helps, but it seems like they didn't in your case.

Because those steps didn't help with the Moto E4, then my recommendation would be to continue syncing with the OnePlus.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
