Versa isn't syncing nor receiving notifications

Fitbit 3.3.1 is causing me nothing but problems.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times.  Every few days it just won't sync or notify me of anything.  I've rebooted my versa.  This update is a hot mess and has made my fitbit useless.  Please advise on how to correct these issues.  I'm a long time fitbit user and a tester.  Pretty sure everything is set correctly with permissions enabled.   I've never had such issues like this.

Thanks for sharing your Versa's current behavior, and for the steps that you've tried prior posting. I'm sorry for the issues that you've had after the update, and I'll help you out with this. To investigate, may I know your phone's model and Android version? Also, what's the error message displayed when trying to sync?

 

Although you've tried troubleshooting your device, give a try to the following steps so we can get your Versa to sync and receive notifications:

  1. Remove the Versa from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. On your phone's settings tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  3. Reboot your phone and restart your Versa one more time.
  4. Open the Fitbit app, tap on the profile's icon > setup a new device.
  5. Choose the Versa, tap on replace device and follow the onscreen instructions.
  6. Once this is completed, set the notifications one more time.
